Yes, you may please register on the Uttarakhand web portal via the Dehradun Smart City website as a tourist. You will need to provide your dates of travel and upload a copy of the travel voucher issued by us. 1. Aarogya Setu App on the smartphone of all the travellers indicating everyone as Green that is covid safe. 2. A print out of the E-pass issued by Dehradun Smart City portal of Government of Uttarakhand for all the travellers coming with you. 3. Travel voucher as issued by the resort with your reservation dates. We encourage our guests to travel in social bubbles only that is with your own family. Social bubble may also comprise of one or two other families living in the same neighbourhood, with no travel history to any containment zone or any Covid related symptoms. Travelling in a social bubble not only ensures better safety for you and your family but also helps in mitigating the emotional distress caused by the now months long social isolations.
At Aranyam, which is about 18 kms off Rishikesh main town and about a 5 to 6 hrs drive from Delhi NCR, in addition to the very nature of the property that has wide open spaces conducive for physical distancing, our staff is well trained to ensure that you enjoy the magical outdoors with utmost comfort and safety. Please refer to a video made post our reopening on the practices and Standard Operating Procedures that we are following. The guest rooms are deep cleaned, sanitised and sealed by the resident manager prior to each arrival. There is a gap of minimum 24 hrs between two check ins. Guest luggage is sanitised before entering the property, temperature and SpO2 screening done of all the guests and room keys are properly sanitised prior to hand over. There are hands free sanitisation stations placed in common areas. All the shared spaces including the dining area, bonfire zone and activity zones are rearranged in order to ensure physical distancing. We request and require our guests to wear masks at all times when in common areas and sanitise their hands before opening doors or touching any high contact points in order to ensure everybody’s safety. All the groceries and vegetables that enter our property is washed and sanitised. All the cutlery is washed and disinfected using prescribed chemicals prior to each use. Meals are served at Café Forktale that has both indoor and outdoor seating, along with an option of dining in one of our river front lawns as well. Our staff will serve you at the buffet or on your table (as the case may be). Guests are required to wear masks even in the dining area while getting served and may only take them off while on their table. Under current circumstances we are only replenishing water in the rooms and offering turndown services only on advance request. We also recommend that you use your own washrooms for extra safety, even though the ones in common areas are clean, sanitised and fit to you use as well. The staff stays in campus and has minimal movement outside the resort. There is regular thermal and SpO2 screening of all staff members. Our team uses fresh clean masks, face shields, gloves and regularly washes their hands for your safety, and that of their own.
